Kayla McFall resigns as West Alderman. Letters of Intent are now being accepted.

Alderman Kayla McFall submitted a letter of resignation to the Board of Alderman and Mayor effective December 5, 2022. The City of Hamilton is grateful for the service of Alderman McFall.

The City of Hamilton is taking letters of interest from residents in the West Ward interested in filling the position for the remainder of McFall’s term which expires with the spring 2023 municipal election. Letters need to be submitted to City Hall located at 200 S. Davis by December 12th at 3:00 p.m.

Residents interested in the position must be 21 years old, a citizen of the United States, have resided in Hamilton for at least one year, reside in the West Ward, and must be current on all city taxes.

The Mayor will make a recommendation to the Board of Alderman who will approve the person to fill the position at the board's regular meeting on December 14th at 5:30pm.
