Billing Information:
Your City of Hamilton utility bill is due on the 10th and delinquent after the 20th of every month. A $25.00 late charge will be applied for delinquent accounts. There is a $20 disconnection fee and a $60 reconnection fee if services are disconnected due to non-payment. A drop box is located on the north side of City Hall for your convenience. Credit/Debit card payments can be made from our home page on this website.
Water Service
Fees:
Water Deposit is required for each meter.
- $150.00 - Residential Property Owners
- $300.00 - Residential Rental Customers
- $12.60 - Trash Deposit Required for Residential
- $12.60 - Current Month’s Trash Bill required at signup.
Trash Service
Pickup Days:
- Trash pickup days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays depending on location.
Unaccepted Items:
- Items that will not be picked up are large appliances, tires, batteries, oil, yard waste, paint, and large furniture items.
Trash Cans:
- It is recommended to use trash cans with lids to avoid destruction by animals.
- Trash cans must have handles and holes in bottom for drainage if no lid.
- Please bag all trash and place curbside.
Sewer Service
Fees:
- Sewer charges are based on the water usage.
